Between the Lines of Healthcare Reform

Or should that be “between the LIES of healthcare reform”?

The ultimate goal (if you hadn’t already figured it out) is to destroy private insurance and replace it with a single payer system. Here’s Mr. Obama saying so in his own words:

What happened to the promise of not raising taxes on the middle class? Not that any rational person ever believed such nonsense, but still.

It’s sounding like millions of us will not only be required to purchase health insurance (at least initially through a private insurer), spending a lot of money for very little coverage or face a penalty tax of 2.5%, but we will be paying higher taxes above and beyond that.

I’m beginning to understand what it feels like to be mugged.
